Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.
The Main Attraction
The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.
An imaginative landscape chart created using the CC3+ software platform.
Package Levels
Basic Package
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.
Full Package
Starting at thirty dollars, the 39-item bundle contains these components:
- Fractal Terrains 3+
- Dungeon Creation Tool
- City Designer 3
- Cosmic Mapping System
- Viewpoint Enhancement
- Dioramas 3
- Character Artist 3
- Fantasy Interior Symbols
- Contemporary Design Pack

- World Builder’s Compendium
- Annual Volumes 1-17
- Permanent CC3+ Access
- 3D City Symbols
- Comprehensive Mapping Guide
- Fantasy Landscape Symbols
- Token Treasury: Monsters 1
- Source Maps: Castles!
- Metropolitan Source Maps
All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option is toward the top of the page, but you can also select their donation amount in the right-hand section. There's also an donation allocation menu immediately below, enabling adjustment of the distribution percentage goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
