Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a man who leaped a fence and grabbed the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the Australian man pushing past media personnel and lunging at Grande while the actors made its way down a promenade flanked by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being arrested", though court documents revealed that he was set to appear on the next day. It is not clear if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney show in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is clearly a punishable act," stated an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Safety

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote a further message on Instagram.

A number of supporters also faulted guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande looked surprised when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Many of attendees had gathered in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had waited for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the second of a dual adaptation of the acclaimed stage production Wicked, which revolves around the surprising bond between two contrasting witches.

The production itself is a adaptation of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of 2024 in the UK, and earned ten Academy Award nods, securing a pair for excellent wardrobe and production design.
